The Beauty and Romance of Hangzhou’s West Lake in Springtime

One of Hangzhou's most popular sights is West Lake. The lake covers an area of 6 square kilometers and includes some of Hangzhou's most famous historic and scenic places. The area includes historical pagodas, cultural sites, as well as the natural beauty of the lake and hills.

Beautiful in any season, Spring is a special season. Blooming cherry trees, drooping willows and the colors of new bloomed flowers signal the end of the winter with a stunning array of color and aromas. It is easy to see, in these days, why Hangzhou is considered one of the Top 10 picturesque cities in China.
