| samsays ltd represents a new approach to business. A true virtual company, with no paid employees, minimal overhead and operating expenses, the company behind Sam's FotoLocket is based upon the principles of "business artivism, " a still in development business model that draws liberally upon the tradition of social entrepreneurship in an effort to seamlessly blend together business, art and activism in an effort to create "win-win" scenarios that benefit the psyche in equal proportion to the pocketbook and tap into heretofore untapped reservoirs of goodwill and creative talent heretofore neglected.
Sales will be made through the Internet and direct through Photo and Camera Clubs, with promotions through our website, through other photo groups and travel organizations, through blogs and other viral marketing. Minimal funds will be spent on paid advertising. If we are able to bring our vision to full fruition, Seven (7) percent of the company will be utilized to seed a a Foundation intended to support worthwhile causes of humanistic and global import. More details on this will follow, but current areas of particular interest include non-partisan voter education, the empowerment of disenfranchised minorities, freedom of the press and the protection of children, our most valued natural resource. We also plan to provide support to the arts once we are established - including artists, photographers, writers and screenwriters - by providing a new distribution channel for their work and through on-line and live exhibitions. It is not just about the money, but money does matter. Make no mistake. We welcome your support because without a viable self-supporting financial enterprise we're just another company that would love to do the right thing. The founders and principals of samsays ltd (currently Sam Stearman and Raphie Frank) will only be paid as a commission on sales.
