Po Toi Island is the "South Pole" of Hong Kong. It is a rocky island off the southeastern coast of Hong Kong Island and opposite to Stanley. The total area is about 4 sq. km. There are only a small number of permanent residents (well under 100) and they all live in Tai Wan, on the western coast of Po Toi.

Po Toi is well known for its rocks and as a favorite for hikers over the years. To me, it was the most beautiful of all the islands I have visited.
