About the Artist

Mang Cheung-Mo works as a government official in Zhu Hai.  He has also been a professional photographer since 1970, has been a recipient of many different photographic awards, and his annual prizes from photographic contests consistently surpasses his salary.  Mr. Mang  has served as a General Committee member of FAPA - Hong Kong / Macau Chapter since 2000.  He is also a honorary member of MPC Photograpic Club of Hong Kong. 

His favored cameras include Hasselblad, Leica, Nikon and Linhof.

While Mr. Mang speaks no English and I speak no Mandarin, I enjoyed the pleasure of his company and learned many pointers from him during a February 2006 trip to Pu Jiang County, China.  The above photos represent a small sample of his impressive work.
