After viewing sunrise over Mt. Kenya and breakfast at the Ark, we passed the Equator and drove past Thompson's Falls, on our way to Lake Nakuru National Park, a 150 kilometer drive.  After lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, we went on a late afternoon safari around the lake, which is home to over 1 million flamingoes and other birds.  We also had an opportunity to view many other animals.
