Sam's Exotic Travels: Hong Kong - Bridging East and West

Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories, outlying islands, N.T., NT, landscape photography, nature photography, pictures of people, exotic travel, adventure travel, nature photography, landscape photos, photo journeys, people, photography, images

My first photos of Hong Kong were taken in April 2003, during the midst of the SARS epidemic.  You can check out my tourist-eye view by following the following links:

I moved to Hong Kong in September 2003.  Since that time, I have been exploring this dynamic city/state and find it fascinating: a place that bridges east and west.  As the investment and financial center of Asia, it contains many of the advantages of largest cities in the west, yet it possesses a quaintness that is entirely Asian.

To read more about Hong Kong, check out the following narrative. It also includes a map and links to additional photos.

My other pictures, which although extensive, continue to be a work in process.  They are grouped by the four principal areas that comprise Hong Kong.  Each section also contains narratives to provide a better understanding of my new homeland:

◊ How would you like never to buy another spare memory card for your holiday trip?
◊ How would you like never to miss a shot because your memory card is full?
How would you like to upload your pictures while on a shoot and free up your media card without lugging your notebook computer around?
