The two towns are more or less continuous and consist of a number of villages joined together by newer housing developments.
Fung Ying Sin Koon Temple - Fung Ying Sin Koon temple was established in Hong Kong by a Taoist monk from Guangzhou in 1929, to worship Lao Tzu, Lu Dongbin and Yau Cheong Chun. In the early days of the temple, the Koon was devoted to meditation. It was registered as a non-profit religious association in 1950 and is now one of the largest Taoist temples in Hong Kong.
