Agra and Its 15 Decades of Fame - One of Sam's Exotic Travels

Agra is a large and chaotic city, located some 200 km south of Delhi, with a golden past. For 150 years it was the capital of India and its Mughal emperors left behind a lasting legacy as a testament to a remarkable city, including Agra’s impressive Red Fort, home of five generations of rulers, and Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world. Our tour also included The Jama Masjid, a Hindu mosque built in the 16th century, surrounded by a 84-room colonnade in nearby Fatehpur Sikri.
